Please reach us at apbfpetcare@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
We provide services for dogs, cats, reptiles and other small indoor pets as well as farm animals such as chickens, goats, sheep, horses, llamas, etc. We are happy to care for any type of pet and are regularly adding to the list of what we service!
No, we do not offer boarding (in the sitter’s home) at this time. We only offer overnight care in the client’s home. If overnights in your home won’t work for you, we will happily refer you to a local boarder.
Yes! We happily can help administer medications to your pets. We train our sitters to be able to provide oral and injected medications as well as eye drops. (The owner, Lianna, is a Type 1 Diabetic and VERY familiar with giving Insulin shots, so fear not!)
We just ask that you provide instructions (Do they need a pill pocket or certain cheese to eat it? Do you just drop it in their food? Name(s) and description(s) of medication? Time they must take it?)
Overnights & Extended Drop In Services:
Please give 7 day notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your booking. Less than 7 days notice will incur a fee of 50% of the service rate. Less than 48 hour notice will incur a fee of 100% of the service rate.
30min/1hr Walk and Drop In Services or Poop’N’Scoop Services:
Please give 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your booking. Less than 48 hour notice will incur a fee of 50% of the service rate. Same Day cancellation will incur a fee of 100% of the service rate.
Please note that if a sitter/scooper arrives for a service and cannot complete the service due to an on-the-spot cancellation, not being able to access the house or yard (locked gate, no key left for them, etc), dogs left in yard preventing a scooping service, etc., 100% of the service rate will be charged.
Yes! As part of our New Client Policy, we require a Meet & Greet appointment before any services are done. This allows you and your pet(s) to meet the sitter, to go over care instructions, routines, location of things such as food and water bowls, leashes, etc., walk routes and exchange key if needed.
No, we do not have a discounted rate for extended trips. We want to make sure our sitters are paid appropriately for the time away from their own families and pets.
